Leicester City have sacked Craig Shakespeare as manager of the club after just eight months in charge.
The Englishman took over as manager following Claudio Ranieri’s sacking in February, despite the Italian guiding them to the Premier League title just a season before, and he guided them to a 12th place finish.
But he has now been given his marching orders after just one win in his opening eight matches in the 2017/18 season.
A draw at home to West Brom was seemingly the final straw, and after four losses already this campaign, he has been given the axe.
