Barcelona winger Pedro Rodriguez is currently being heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, with El Confidencial today claiming a move will happen soon rather than later.
The 27 year old Spaniard, who joined the Barcelona academy as a 16 year old, is firmly behind Luis Suarez, Leo Messi and Neymar in the pecking order at the Camp Nou.
Spanish newspaper Marca this morning published an interview with former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, in which he urged Pedro to reject foreign interest (from Manchester United) in order to stay at Barcelona.
“Pedro’s future is an individual decision,” Suarez told Marca. “He’s had many years at the club, he has won many titles and his decision will be respected, but as a teammate, obviously, I want Pedro to stay because of the importance that he has on a group level.”
Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been linked to the £22m rated winger, who will reportedly be allowed to leave if a suitable offer comes in for him.
The two footed winger is also able to play as the main striker and has won everything there is to win in the game with Barcelona and Spain.
