Manchester City have unveiled their new home kit for next season, incorporating the club’s new badge.
The strip — light blue shirts, light blue shorts and white socks — will be worn for the first time when City play Pep Guardiola’s old club Bayern Munich on July 20.
The new kit and badge, based on previous badges from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, was officially unveiled at the club’s Etihad Campus as Guardiola greeted fans for the first time on Sunday.
Thousands of City supporters packed the campus for a first chance to see their new manager.
Guardiola, who won 21 trophies during his time at Barcelona and Bayern Munich, told them: “I proved myself in Barcelona and, after I proved myself in Germany, I wanted to prove myself in England.”
