Manchester United has successfully acquired the services of Mason Mount from Chelsea for an initial fee of £55m.

Mount, at the age of 24, has committed to a five-year contract with Manchester United, effective until the summer of 2028. Additionally, the club holds an option to extend the agreement for an additional year.
This transfer marks United’s inaugural signing of the summer, thereby bringing an end to Mount’s remarkable 18-year tenure with Chelsea.
