Spanish professional footballer, Juan Mata has signed a new three-year deal at Manchester United today.
Mata’s present contract expires on 30 June 2019 but the Spanish midfielder signed a new three-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2022.
The 31-year-old played 32 times last season, netting six goals. Despite playing a limited role, Ole Gunnar Solskjær considers him a useful squad player.
In January 2014, Mata joined Manchester United from Chelsea for a club record £37.1m.
He has scored 47 goals and provided 39 assists in 238 games at the club.
