Marcus Rashford was noticeably absent as Manchester United traveled for their Carabao Cup quarter-final clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
The 27-year-old forward, who recently expressed a desire for “a new experience” away from the club, was left out of manager Ruben Amorim’s 20-man squad for the crucial fixture. Rashford’s omission comes amid growing speculation about his future at Old Trafford.
Rashford’s exclusion is particularly significant following his absence from Sunday’s Manchester derby, where teammate Alejandro Garnacho was also left out of the squad. However, Garnacho has since rejoined the team and is expected to feature in Wednesday’s game against Tottenham.
Despite Garnacho traveling, Rashford was not seen with the rest of his teammates, further fueling rumors of his impending exit from the club.
