- We will Mobilize and incentivize foreign and domestic private sector experts to cultivate for local consumption, processing & export:
- We will cultivate Yam, Cassava, Palm Oil (kernels), Cashew, Beneseed, Rice, Garri, Vegetables
Breeding of poultry, piggery & Aquaculture.
- We will Encourage PPP initiatives to establish virile industries that process & utilize all the above raw produce
- We will Construct via PPP with reputable agro-based Israeli institutions to introduce modern farming technologies to improve yield productivity. Come 2019 and beyond we shall strategically engage labor unions.
- We shall built their capacity and reinvent wills. Strike shall be a thing of the past as civil servants, Pensioners and farmers shall be our priority.
- I will identify all the agricultural potentials of all the senatorial districts of the state, I will eliminate middle men and empower all the ministry of Agriculture in all the Local Governments of the state, to deal directly with the famers because they deserve the full benefits of their hard work.
- I will introduce mechanize farming based on individual needs of each farmer.
- I will encourage youths to embrace farming by enabling all the lucrative and attractive benefits of farming.
- I will create an avenue for export of our Agricultural/food products to overseas. I will look carefully at our fruits and agricultural products and I will establish; Production companies to produce juice out of our Mangos, Cashews, Guavas etc, and concentrated juice out of the whole lots for use by pharmaceutical companies.
- I will establish companies that will process our cashew nuts for our use and for exports. We have abundant Tomatoes, fresh Okro and other vegetables in Kogi State, I will establish companies that will process all these vegetables into Tin for preservations that can lasts up to Two years in the tin for our use and export.
- I will make sure that all the roads into the rural areas of the state are motor able and maintained constantly on average of every six months to support and ease transportation of people and goods.
- TOURISMS, SPORT AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT; I want to first remind us of how God has blessed Kogi State with a strategic, unique and beautiful landscape, and secondly of the unadulterated natural and world recognized historical background. I will closely look at the States Gods given potentials and map out as much projects as possible, I will then identify investors that appreciates our potentials and are keen to invest in it.
