The Minister of Steel Development, Shuaibu Audu, has appealed to Nigerians to suspend the ongoing #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest against hunger and poverty. In a statement released on Saturday in Abuja, Audu urged citizens to embrace dialogue to address their concerns about the country’s challenges.
The minister expressed trust in President Bola Tinubu’s administration, stating that it is working diligently to address the nation’s difficulties. He highlighted the administration’s policies and strategic plans aimed at driving Nigeria towards economic prosperity, improved welfare, quality education, and strengthened health systems.
Audu also mentioned other policies focused on improved social amenities, food security, and infrastructural development. He emphasized the need for Nigerians to trust the government’s efforts to address the country’s challenges, urging them to suspend the protest, which began on August 1 and is scheduled to end on August 10.
