Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has been named the February edition of the Professional Football Association (PFA) Premier League Player of the Month.
This was announced by the PFA on their Twitter handle on Monday.
The Egyptian beat off competition from hi Liverpool teammate Roberto Firmino after scoring 37 per cent of the votes, with Firmino gerting 19 per cent.
Others who were in the running included Jack Butland (Stoke City), Chris Smalling (Manchester United), Pascal Gross (Brighton and Hove Albion) and Eden Hazard (Chelsea).
This will be the third time Salah has collected the accolade this campaign as he netted four league goals in three appearances last month.
The former Chelsea and Roma star was voted 2017 African Player of the Year.
