Nigerian and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will play against league champions Manchester City, the two teams meet on Saturday, as stated by the Foxes’ boss, Brendan Rodgers.
The 25-year-old Nigerian wasn’t playing previously due to a hamstring injury since a win over newly promoted side Nottingham Forest in the first week of October.
Brendan Rodgers approved that he has gone the to training and will be available for the Citizens.
“Wilfred Ndidi has been reportedly back and training with the squad,” Rodgers said.
“The most vital thing is he’s back training in the squad and he’s looked fine with the players.
“His presence is the important thing and thankfully he’s present.”
Ndidi has made eight league show ups for the Foxes this season.
