Newcastle United have completed the signing of striker Yoshinori Muto from Mainz for £9.5million on a four-year deal. The Japanese star has completed his move to the Magpies after he was granted a work permit today.
Muro, 26, bagged eight goals for Mainz last season to help them avoid relegation from the Bundesliga.
Muto has signed an initial four-year contract at St. James’ Park after leaving Bundesliga side @1FSVMainz05 and becomes United's fifth signing of the summer.
