Nigeria has recorded 437 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, August 9th, 2020.
Data from the NCDC showed that the cases were spread across 16 states, and the FCT.
The states with the 437 new cases are Lagos-107, FCT-91, Plateau-81, Kaduna-32, Ogun-30, Kwara-24, Ebonyi-19, Ekiti-17, Oyo-8, Borno-6, Edo-6, Kano-4, Nasarawa-3, Osun-3, Taraba-3, Gombe-2 and Bauchi-1.
NCDC also announced that as of 11:30 pm on 9th August, there are 46,577 total COVID-19 confirmed cases reported in Nigeria.
33,186 patients have been discharged with 945 deaths across the country.
