The National Association of Northern Nigerian Students (NANNS) bestowed a prestigious Meritorious Award of Leadership upon the CEO of THE PASHA BY CITY BOWL on Wednesday, 9th August, 2023.
The award was presented in recognition of the company’s outstanding service excellence and significant contribution to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, particularly in alleviating unemployment by providing employment opportunities for thousands of Nigerians, regardless of their ethnic or religious backgrounds.
The Public Relations Officer of NANNS, Comrade Nafiu Yushau Zugachi, articulated the significance of the award during the presentation to the CEO.
The ceremony included Amb Muhammad Nuhu Nagaske adorning the CEO with the awarded medal, adding a ceremonial touch to the occasion.
The accolade, known as the Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardauna Distinguished Leadership Award, was handed over by a delegation of four representatives from Kano.
Led by Comrade Hassan El-Yakub, the delegation comprised Comrade Nafiu Yushau Zugachi, the Public Relations Officer, and two other members, Comrade Muhammad Nuhu Nagaske and Comrade Muzizatu Isah.
According to Comrade Hassan El-Yakub, the President of NANNS, the decision to honor THE CEO PASHA BY CITY BOWL was rooted in the company’s proven track record of excellent service provision and leadership, notably in generating employment opportunities for Nigerians.
He highlighted the company’s exceptional accomplishments and described its contribution to national development as “too imposing to be ignored.”
El-Yakub expressed, “We are… presenting you the Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardauna Distinguished Leadership Award in recognition of your uprightness, doggedness, integrity, sagacity, excellent and diligent disposition of your duties with absolute fairness, accountability, immense contribution towards National Development and your service to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
During the ceremony, Comrade Hassan El-Yakub also shed light on the various activities and initiatives undertaken by NANNS across 19 Northern states and the FCT.
These endeavors encompass drug abuse sensitization, ICT training and development, peace promotion, unity advocacy, and overall community betterment.
The CEO of THE PASHA BY CITY BOWL expressed gratitude for the recognition and lauded the association’s commitment to societal development.
He pledged his support for their endeavors, highlighting the importance of collaboration between private entities and student associations in nurturing a more prosperous and harmonious society.
