The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has postponed the orientation programme for 2017 Batch B, stream 2 Corps members in Benue state.
Recall that over 73 persons were killed on New Year’s Day in the North Central State by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
And the NYSC, in a statement on its Twitter handle, announced that the orientation programme has been suspended due to the incident.
“ATTENTION 2017 BATCH “B” STREAM II PCMs The NYSC management wishes to inform all PCMs deployed to Benue and Taraba states that the 2017 Batch B stream 2 orientation course scheduled to hold in Benue camp has been suspended,” the tweet read. “A new date will be communicated to you in due course.”
