The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (Oyo SUBEB) has released the results of its recent computer-based assessments (CBT) for the recruitment of teachers in primary schools across the state.
This announcement was made by the Executive Chairman of the Board, Nureni Adeniran, in a statement made available to the press on Wednesday.
Adeniran revealed that the Board has set a cut-off mark of 50% for candidates to proceed to the next phase of the recruitment process.
This benchmark serves as a critical determinant in the selection procedure, ensuring that only qualified candidates advance.
Candidates who participated in the assessments are advised to check their results on the Oyo SUBEB recruitment portal.
Adeniran emphasized the Board’s commitment to enhancing the quality of education by ensuring that competent teachers are hired to support primary education in Oyo State.
The recruitment exercise attracted significant interest, with reports indicating that 52,423 individuals applied for the 7,000 available teaching positions.
