Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party have sacked the Acting National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus.
Secondus was informed by the governors, to pass the mantle of temporary leadership of the party’s secretariat to the National Secretary, Prof. Wale Oladipo.
Secondus was however, asked to resume his former position as the deputy national chairman of the opposition party.
The governors were reported to have taken the decision on Wednesday night.
News of Secondus’ sack comes 24 hours after a former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulak, stormed the party’s national secretariat in Abuja with his supporters, to declare himself as the national chairman.
