Arsenal are set to make Petr Cech the best paid goalkeeper in their history.
The Czech international is close to making a switch from Chelsea to the Emirates and will sign a £100,000-a-week deal.
According to reports, Cech snubbed a move to Paris Saint-Germain, where he was offered a £150,000-a-week contract, opting to remain in London where his family is settled.
It will, however, represent an increase in his wages, as he is currently earning £90,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge.
The 32-year-old will become Arsene Wenger’s new number one keeper, with Wojciech Szczesny as his understudy.
David Ospina is believed to be close to a £4m move to Fenerbahce.
