President Muhammadu Buhari, has finally waded into the National Assembly crisis as he and his deputy, Yemi Osinbajo, late Wednesday met with members of the crises ridden House of Representatives. According to reports, most of the Members in attendance belonged to the Femi Gbajabiamila camp.
The lawmakers were led to the meeting held inside the Conference Hall of the First Lady’s Office inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja by Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila.Those who attended were drawn from all the six geo-political zones.
The meeting was part of efforts aimed at resolving the leadership crisis rocking the two chambers of the National Assembly. Gbajabiamila was the All Progressives Congress’ choice for the post of the Speaker before Yakubu Dogara was elected.
