Premier League referee Bobby Madley has resigned his position with just one match into the new campaign.
okay.ng gathered that Madley left the position “due to a change in his personal circumstances.”
The development was announced by the Professional Game Match Officials Limited just nine months after he was appointed to the Fifa list.
“Bobby Madley is no longer employed by PGMOL,” the statement said. “We understand that he has decided to relocate due to a change in his personal circumstances.”
Madley has officiated 91 Premier League games since 2013 and was at the centre during the 2017 Community Shield.
