Manchester United would be forced to sell PFA team of the year goalkeeper, David De Gea as he has told the Old Trafford club that he intends to join Real Madrid with just one year left on his contract.
De Gea has been a serious target for Real Madrid and after Manchester United failed to seal a deal that would see him remain at the club beyond next season, their hands were tied when he decided that his playing future was outside Old Trafford. Real Madrid are reportedly readying a 30 million euro bid for the goalkeeper and Manchester may be forced to accept or risk losing the Spaniard for free next season.
De Gea may have the patience to wait one more season but he would be excited to be able to leave Old Trafford now.
