The House of Representatives has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to quickly appoint his cabinet for his second tenure.
Okay.ng learnt that Toby Okechukwu, a lawmaker, raised the motion during plenary on Tuesday.
Mohammed Monguno, another lawmaker, opposed the motion through a point of order, explaining that the constitution does not provide a time frame for the appointment of ministers by the President.
However, Okechukwu, noted that his motion does not suggest that there is a time frame for the President to appoint his cabinet but only seeks to urge him to appoint them urgently.
