Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has surprised the public with his recently unveiled official portrait, a day before his second-term inauguration on May 29.
The Governor’s media adviser, Gboyega Akosile, took to Instagram on Sunday to share the captivating artwork, which is set to grace government and non-government offices throughout the state starting from Monday.
The stunning portrait showcases Governor Sanwo-Olu adorned in a traditional white Agbada, accentuated by a distinct handmade cap in a captivating carton brown shade with elegant blue stripes, which has undoubtedly become a trademark of his brand identity.
“The new portrait is a departure from the previous one where the Governor wears a blue suit, white shirt and blue tie,” Akosile said.
“The portrait was photographed by ace photographer Ademola Olaniran, who brought his depth of professionalism and creativity into the finished work.
“The portrait can also be found on all the official social media handles of Mr. Governor, Lagos State Government, and websites.”
