The State Security Services (SSS) has released wanted journalist Ahmad Salkida just a day after his arrest.
Salkida is one of three people wanted in connection with supposed knowledge regarding Boko Haram and the location of over 200 Chibok girls.
The reporter, who is known for his in-depth pieces on the Islamist sect, was detained following his arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Monday, September 5.
While being quizzed by operatives from the SSS, Salkida is alleged to have denied the allegations put before him, while stating that he has no knowledge of the whereabouts of the Chibok girls.
All documents and devices confiscated during his arrest have allegedly been returned to him upon his release, Premium Times reports.
