Streamer Kai Cenat has fired back at Kanye West, popularly known as Ye, after being labeled an “industry plant” by the rapper during their recent feud over clothing.
The feud began when Cenat criticized Ye’s new clothing line YZY, pointing out issues with the sizing of the garments. In a video, Cenat showcased a pair of trousers that were too large for him, prompting his critique.
Ye, however, didn’t take the criticism lightly. He messaged Cenat on Instagram and later called him out as an “industry plant” during an episode of The Download podcast.
“Don’t make no jokes about my clothes. When you ain’t saying nothing about what Adidas is doing. When Vultures song came out you ain’t play my verse. You controlled. Don’t play with me,” Ye’s message read.
Respond to him, Cenat said: “I hear you bro but ain’t no jokes was being said when I first opened up that package. I showed love instantly. All I did was try on the sweats and it didn’t fit. No jokes made. I immediately asked for a new pair.”
Ye in more exchange accused Cenat of intentionally criticising the clothing line: “F**k you… You was told to diss my s**t. You a pawn.”
During a Twitch stream, Cenat addressed the ongoing drama, questioning the need for the argument over a pair of trousers. “Why is we arguing, brah?” he exclaimed, expressing his confusion over the situation. “Man, what the f**k. Bro, Ye. Just send me some new pants, bro… All of this [because] the pants don’t fit?”
Asserting his authenticity, Cenat emphasized that he was “far from an industry plant” and reiterated that there was no valid reason for the dispute between him and Ye.
