President Bola Tinubu has urged Nigerians to embrace the spirit of sacrifice and love for their neighbors as the country celebrates Eid-el-Kabir. Speaking to journalists after Eid prayers in Lagos, the President emphasized the importance of sacrifice in moving the nation forward.
According to a statement by his media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu encouraged citizens to sacrifice their time for the growth and well-being of the country. He stressed that citizenship comes with responsibilities, including loving one’s country and neighbors, sharing resources, and being thankful to God.
The Chief Imam of Lagos State, Sheikh Suleiman Oluwatoyin, who led the prayers, reiterated the need for love, sacrifice, and care for the poor and vulnerable. He praised past leaders who sacrificed for the country’s growth and urged citizens to follow their footsteps.
The President’s message focused on unity, sacrifice, and national growth, encouraging Nigerians to work together for a better future.
