Simultaneously, bandits struck at Kuriga village along the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway, killing a school principal, Idris Abu Sufyan, and abducting his wife and child on Thursday night. The assailants reportedly stormed the village, shot the principal dead, and took his wife and son to an undisclosed location.
