Transcorp Hotels Plc, one of Nigeria’s leading hotel and hospitality companies, has announces its plans for 2023, with an emphasis on expansion and service excellence.
The company has several projects in the pipeline, including the completion of a 5,000+ capacity convention center at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja, which is expected to open to the public by the fourth quarter of 2023.
In addition to the convention center, Transcorp Hotels will also continue work on the Transcorp Hilton Ikoyi project, and is currently considering development opportunities in Port Harcourt.
The company will also continue to expand its online platform, Aura by Transcorp Hotels, which offers booking for accommodation and experiences.
In a letter to staff, the Managing Director of Transcorp Hotels, Dupe Olusola, highlighted the company’s efforts to respond robustly to economic challenges in Nigeria.
“Having strengthened our business even more, and started important projects and initiatives that will help to guarantee our continued success in the future, I must stress that working together in line with our core values of execution, excellence, and enterprise, has helped us make good progress toward our strategic goals despite prevailing economic conditions in our country,” Olusola said.
She also emphasized that the company’s work is more relevant than ever, as guests are demanding more than just the basics and expect a holistic approach to hospitality.
