Lille have completed the signing of French striker Loïc Rémy from Las Palmas for €1.4m. The 31-year-old striker signed a two-year with the French club becoming the club’s sixth signing of the summer.
The striker spent the second half of last season on loan at Getafe, where he scored three goals in 11 appearances.
Remy returns to his native France for the first time since leaving Marseille in 2013, and he will look to improve on Lille’s 17th-placed finish last term.
The 31-year-old scored six goals in 13 games for Las Palmas, an impressive return, but fell out with new coach Paco Jemez almost immediately upon his appointment and days later was shipped out on loan to Getafe.
The Frenchman scored three goals in 11 appearances during that loan spell in Madrid before returning to his parent club
