Hertha Berlin have completed the third summer transfer after signing Pascal Koepke from second division side Erzgebirge Aue, both clubs confirmed on Monday.
The 22-year-old will reinforce Berlin’s offense as he put pen to paper on an undisclosed “long-term” contract.

“We have closely scouted Pascal over the past few years and closely followed his development. We think he is ready for the step into Germany’s top flight and are convinced to have found a good addition for our offense,” Berlin’s sporting director Michael Preetz said.
Koepke played since January 2016 for second division club Erzgebirge Aue and made ever since 81 appearances, providing 12 assists and 30 goals.
“I was delighted how Michael Preetz talked about me. The conditions at Hertha Berlin are great and it soon became clear to me that I would like to join Hertha,” the new arrival told the club’s official homepage.
