Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has announced his readiness to return to action in Galatasaray’s Turkish Super Lig encounter against Trabzonspor on Monday.
Osimhen, who has been sidelined for two games due to a muscle injury, missed his team’s clashes with Sivasspor and Malmo.
The injury was initially expected to keep him out for two weeks, but the 25-year-old has confirmed his recovery.
Speaking to Beyaz TV, Osimhen expressed confidence in his fitness and his team’s readiness for the crucial match.
“I think I’m fine, but I don’t know. It will be a difficult match, but we are ready to give everything for the victory. We are ready to give everything to win this season,” he said.
The Super Eagles star has been a key figure for Galatasaray this season, contributing 10 goals and five assists in 13 appearances across all competitions.
His return is a significant boost for the club as they aim to maintain their strong form in the league.
