Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly close to completing a one-year loan move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.
The Nigerian forward, who failed to secure a move to a top European club during the summer transfer window, has been excluded from Napoli’s squad under new manager Antonio Conte.
With limited options available, Osimhen is now considering a move to Turkey as his next career step.
According to renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Napoli has reached an agreement in principle with Galatasaray for a loan deal.
Romano disclosed the details of the arrangement on X, stating that Galatasaray will cover Osimhen’s wages during the loan period. He added that a delegation from the Turkish club is set to meet with Osimhen in Naples in the coming hours to finalize the move.
Romano’s post read: “Galatasaray has reached an agreement in principle with Napoli over a loan deal for Victor Osimhen! One year loan, salary covered as Napoli have accepted these conditions. Gala’s delegation to meet with Osimhen in Napoli in the next hours for the final green light to the move.”
