The recent helicopter crash involving Herbert Wigwe, the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of Access Holdings Plc, has taken a haunting turn as a cryptic message shared by Wigwe on his social media platforms just weeks before the incident comes to light.
Wigwe, who was aboard the Eurocopter EC130 helicopter that crashed in California near the Nevada border on Saturday, was accompanied by his wife, son, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former Group Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group). Tragically, there were no survivors among the six passengers onboard.
However, a post made by Wigwe on January 19, just weeks before the fatal crash, has sparked intrigue and reflection.
In the message, Wigwe urged his followers to recognize the preciousness of life and to live with purpose and gratitude.
“Today and always, let us remember that life is a precious gift – a chance to breathe, feel, love, experience, and connect,” Wigwe’s post reads.
“Let’s honor this gift by living with purpose, kindness, and gratitude, making every moment count. Let us number our days.”
