Philippe Coutinho has revealed he moved to Barcelona from Liverpool on Saturday because he wants to win titles.
The Brazilian was officially unveiled at the Nou Camp on Sunday, but was at the stadium to grant his first interview.
According to the 25-year-old, his move to Spain, the second-most expensive transfer in football history, just behind Neymar’s transfer from Barca to Paris Saint-Germain, was also to play alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
The Brazilian left Liverpool for a package totaling £142million.
“I’m living the dream,” the player who will put pen to paper on a five-and-a-half-year deal at Camp Nou said.
“I want to play with great players like Messi, Busquets, Iniesta, Piqué, and Suárez. I hope to play with joy and I want to win titles for the fans. I want to learn a lot.
“I’m happy. I’m very happy. I want to make the fans happy.”
