Outgoing governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero of Kaduna State has moved of his official residence at the Government House complex to his private residence within Kaduna metropolis.
Sources at the Government House told our correspondent that the governor parked out of the Government House sometimes last week to give way to the Governor –elect, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai who will be taking over on Friday May 29.
Our Correspondent who was at the Government House yesterday reports that the governor has also stopped using all official cars attached to his office and resolved to using his private vehicles.
Sources at the Government House said, “The governor packed out his belongings sometimes last week, he comes to the office from his private residence. He sometimes drives himself around town ever since he lost his re-election bid.”
We also learnt that the governor has abandoned official functions to his deputy, Amb. Nuhu Audu Bajoga since losing at the last month governorship elections to Mallam Nasir El-Rufai of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
