Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is reportedly interested in succeeding Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
Manchester United board are backing Mourinho for now and believe he can still turn around the club’s fortunes on the pitch.
But Mirror Sport reports Zidane is ready to step in, if the Premier League club feels they need to make a change.
Zidane has an impressive CV and in his two-and-a-half year spell in charge of Real Madrid he won three successive Champions Leagues and one La Liga.
He quit Real after Champions League Final win over Liverpool in May, because of disagreements with the club’s board.
